General Information

The information on this website, including all blog posts, articles, training tips and other content, is provided for general information only. It is not a substitute for a personal consultation or tailored advice for your dog.

Dog Training & Behaviour Advice

Thinking Dogs has many years of experience in dog walking, dog sitting and dog training, including puppy training. However, every dog is different and results may vary.

Blog posts, training guides, articles and any general advice on this website:

  • are based on general experience and widely used training principles;

  • should be used as a starting point only;

  • are not a replacement for a face-to-face assessment of your dog’s behaviour, health and environment.

For specific advice for your dog, you should book a consultation or training session with us.

No Guarantee of Results

Training outcomes depend on many factors, including:

  • your dog’s history, age, health and temperament;

  • your consistency in applying training methods;

  • environmental factors and changes in your dog’s life.

We do not guarantee specific behavioural results unless such results are agreed separately in writing as part of a booked service. General advice and training tips provided on this website or in our blog are not a guarantee of results.

Use of Blog Content

You may read and use the information in our blog for your own personal use. You should:

  • not rely solely on blog content when making decisions about your dog’s training or welfare;

  • seek professional advice if your dog shows signs of aggression, anxiety, fear or other serious behavioural issues;

  • consult a vet if you suspect your dog has a medical condition that may be affecting behaviour.

If you follow any advice from our blog:

  • you do so at your own risk;

  • you should ensure that any training method is safe for your dog and appropriate for their age, health and temperament;
