Nancy Abplanalp became interested in training dogs at the age of nine, when her family acquired their first dog, Mabel, from the shelter. By the age of eleven, she had her first training gig, walking a neighbor’s Brittany for $0.25 a day.

Nancy has been simultaneously classroom teaching and training dogs for twenty years. At some point, she will make a decision to pursue only one profession.
