Tracey taught her first obedience class in 1977. (She is proud to say she has evolved from the primitive methods employed back then.)
Tracey has trained and competed with her own and client’s dogs in obedience, tracking, agility and scent work. Most rewarding has been training and working her search and rescue dog, training service dogs, and working with homeless dogs.
Tracey has worked with shelter dogs both as an employee of Yolo County SPCA and as a shelter volunteer at Yolo County Animal Services Shelter and as the Animal Behavior Assessment Coordinator at Sacramento SPCA.
Tracey is co-founder of The Road Home Canine Rescue, created to deal with hoarded dogs. She now provides in home behavior modification and training services and teaches scent work classes under her business name, Ain’t Misbehavin’ Dog Training.
